Days 24 thru 27 – 15th-18th December . The Chilean Sea Passages. Images 2.

'Big' views were on offer continuously. Even in the bad weather the look-out decks were still busy.

The boat was used for cargo and lot of ivestock between Puerto Natales to Punto Montt. When the wind changed the odd 'country smell' wafted up on deck. Ideal with your G & T.

Rugged snow-capped mountains dominate much of the scenery of the first few hundred kilometres.

This ice wall was about 70m tall, and 3kms wide.

The nearest two towns to Puerto Eden, the only town we passed was about 850 kms either north or south. Our ship is there only contact with the outside world and brings in all their supplies.
