Leaving my notebook charger in a hotel on the 2nd January put paid to the blog for a while.
I won't bore you with the details but after an awful lot of effort of trying to get the charger sent from Chile (where postal/courier services seem non-existant) first to Peru without success, and then to Bolivia also without success, Daniel saved the day by sending a new one from the UK to La Paz.
My fault for being Apple based, and Apple's fault for not having any Mac centres in Peru or Bolivia.
I can now get the blog updated over the next few days.
